Christopher Paris is originally from Fort Worth, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his undergraduate degree in Finance. He then received his law degree from Southern Methodist University and was licensed for the practice of law in 2001. After several years of work as a prosecutor and civil litigator, Mr. Paris maintained a legal practice with an emphasis on probate, mass-tort litigation and small and medium-sized business representation. Since 2009, Mr. Paris’ professional focus has been primarily on oil, gas and energy law. In his capacity as both an attorney and Registered Professional Landman, Mr. Paris has represented a broad spectrum of clients involved in the exploration, production and delivery of conventional and alternative energy sources throughout the United States. He has also assisted the representation of both lenders and property owners in over $1Bn of commercial real estate transactions.
Mr. Paris joined Thomas Title & Escrow in 2021 to contribute his unique set of professional abilities to the company’s Energy Services team, dedicated to providing first-in-class title insurance services and products to the energy industry.
